Jean-Marc TEMMOS is 49 years old, married, and has two children. After a scientifc education, including preparatory classes and SEATECH engineering school, he had the opportunity to participate, in the early 2000s, in the launch of a startup in digital cartography. A period of exciting expansion began, since the startup grew from 6 to over 100 people (incidentally with 2 fundraisings). This era ended with the acquisition of the startup by a large American car equipment supplier. He then led research and innovation programs and fostered greater organizational innovation capabilities. 8 years ago, missing the independence and reactivity of SMEs, he decided to take over the management of SEMANTIC TS, an engineering service provider in environment and oceanography. After 8 years as the CEO and the tripling of the turnover, the company is still growing and has several activities including Oceanography, Underwater Acoustics, Software development and AI dedicated to the monitoring of the maritime environment, for both civil and military applications.
