After a career in the film industry, culminating in being Film Commissioner for Malta from 2007 to 2011, Luisa joined Harbourmaster Capital Management to bring asset finance into the film world. On the sale of Harbourmaster to Blackstone in 2012 Luisa went on to establish and run a family office for a private investor, and has been actively involved in investments in the FinTech and technology space since then.
Luisa co-founded Vita Yachts in 2017 and Aqua superPower in 2020, companies focused on bringing electric propulsion and charging technologies to the marine industry. The companies are now merged to form the leading marine electrification group ATV Technologies that also includes Taiga, a large-scale manufacturer of revolutionary electric powersports vessels and vehicles.
Luisa also served on the government boards of the Malta Maritime Authority and Transport Malta.
