San has over 14 years’ experience in the seaweed sector having previously worked as both COO and deputy CEO for a Canadian seaweed company in the animal nutrition industry. A Chartered Engineer (MIEE), San’s early career was spent working for GE in process engineering before moving to Viasystems, the then largest manufacturer of circuit boards globally, where he oversaw the creation of state-of-the art factories in the UK.
San has a BEng (hons) in Production Engineering, a Master’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing Systems from Brunel University and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Durham University.
