INSECO
Inseco is an insect company. Using industrial-scale biotechnology, we convert organic by-products (i.e. food waste) into insect-based protein, oil and fertiliser at our state of the art 10,000m2 facility in Cape Town, South Africa. Our protein and oil products have applications in aquaculture, animal feed, and pet food, and are cost-efective and sustainable alternatives to conventional ingredients such as fshmeal, soybean meal and fsh-oil. Our fertiliser product is carbon negative, and enhances the quality of the soil, stimulates microbial activity and supports plant defences. Using cutting edge technology, we are responding to the demand for sustainable and high-quality ingredients to feed a rapidly growing global population.
