Ujwal began his career working on the factory floor and improving the working environment by streamlining operations of the factory he worked in. He continued to work in various industries from metal to hardware to now plastics. In 2012 he started Lucro along with other 2 co-founders and started supplying plastic parts to automotive industry. They felt guilty about putting too much plastic in the environment and started Buyback and Recycling (popularly known today as Circular Economy). He co-founded Lucro in 2012 to address India’s flexible plastics challenge, and the company has since become one of the country’s leading recyclers in this sector.
