Yanis Souami (Founder - CEO): Yanis is a marine engineer with 15 years of experience in ocean technologies. He worked with various industries such as port, shipping, offshore wind farm and fisheries. He became a French Navy advisor for issues regarding marine ecosystem. Chair of the Joint Noise Working Group of the international wildlife conservation agreements : ACCOBAMS, ASCOBANS and CMS (Convention of Migratory Species), he works actively to reduce the impact of underwater noise on wildlife.
He founded Sinay in 2008 to help companies to conciliate business efficiency with ocean conservation using data and artificial intelligence. Sinay and its 100 team members (employees?) were recognized has Top Innovator in Ocean Data by the World Economic Forum in 2023.
